The International Italy Snooker Open 2024 took place last weekend at the renowned “15 Palle” in Bolzano and attracted snooker enthusiasts from all over the world. In a thrilling final, Scotsman Muir Ros (SCO) prevailed over the hard-fighting Giuseppe Maisano (ITA) to secure the coveted title.
Ross Muir impressed throughout the tournament by not losing a single frame in the qualifying group phase. His outstanding performance made him the deserved winner of the International Italy Snooker Open 2024.
Second place went to Italian player Giuseppe Maisano, who endured a fair and tough battle against Swiss player Dennis Furrer. The duel between the two players thrilled the spectators and provided thrilling moments on the snooker table.
The hosts of the tournament, Ramona and Stefano Bazzana, owners of the “15 Palle” in Bolzano, were praised for their outstanding hospitality and organisation. Despite a brief setback on Friday evening when the group stage was due to start and the tournament equipment got stuck at the Brenner Pass, bringing traffic to a standstill for 10 hours in both directions, the tournament continued smoothly on Saturday. Some of the equipment did reach Bolzano on Friday midnight and was prepared to ensure that the snooker spectacle could continue as planned on Saturday.
Tournament director Tiziano Guerra organised the event with aplomb and proved that he can also deal with unforeseen challenges. Unfortunately, only the finalists were present at the award ceremony. Tiziano Guerra thanked the participants and the hosts and closed the tournament with the words: “See you next year.” The International Italy Snooker Open 2024 will certainly be remembered as a highlight in snooker history.

L’International Italy Snooker Open 2024 entusiasma appassionati e giocatori

L’International Italy Snooker Open 2024 si è svolto lo scorso fine settimana presso le rinomate “15 Palle” di Bolzano e ha attirato appassionati di snooker da tutto il mondo. In un’emozionante finale, lo scozzese Muir Ros (SCO) ha prevalso sull’agguerrito Giuseppe Maisano (ITA) per aggiudicarsi l’ambito titolo.
Ross Muir ha impressionato per tutta la durata del torneo, non perdendo nemmeno un fotogramma nella fase dei gironi di qualificazione. La sua eccezionale prestazione lo ha reso il meritato vincitore dell’International Italy Snooker Open 2024.
Il secondo posto è andato al giocatore italiano Giuseppe Maisano, che ha combattuto una battaglia leale e dura contro il giocatore svizzero Dennis Furrer. Il duello tra i due giocatori ha entusiasmato gli spettatori e ha regalato momenti emozionanti al tavolo da snooker.
I padroni di casa del torneo, Ramona e Stefano Bazzana, proprietari del “15 Palle” di Bolzano, sono stati elogiati per la loro eccezionale ospitalità e organizzazione. Nonostante una breve battuta d’arresto venerdì sera, quando la fase a gironi doveva iniziare e le attrezzature del torneo sono rimaste bloccate al Brennero, con conseguente blocco del traffico per 10 ore in entrambe le direzioni, il torneo è proseguito senza intoppi sabato. Una parte dell’attrezzatura è arrivata a Bolzano venerdì a mezzanotte ed è stata preparata per garantire che lo spettacolo del biliardo potesse continuare come previsto il sabato.
Il direttore del torneo Tiziano Guerra ha organizzato l’evento con grande abilità e ha dimostrato di saper affrontare anche le sfide impreviste. Purtroppo, alla cerimonia di premiazione erano presenti solo i finalisti. Tiziano Guerra ha ringraziato i partecipanti e i padroni di casa e ha chiuso il torneo con le parole: “Ci vediamo l’anno prossimo”. L’International Italy Snooker Open 2024 sarà sicuramente ricordato come un evento di spicco nella storia dello snooker.

Das Internationale Italien Snooker Open 2024 fand am vergangenen Wochenende im renommierten „15 Palle“ in Bozen statt und lockte Snooker-Enthusiasten aus der ganzen Welt an. In einem spannenden Finale setzte sich der Schotte Muir Ros (SCO) gegen den hart kämpfenden Giuseppe Maisano (ITA) durch und sicherte sich den begehrten Titel.
Ross Muir beeindruckte während des gesamten Turniers, indem er in der Qualifikationsgruppenphase keinen einzigen Frame verlor. Seine herausragende Leistung machte ihn zum verdienten Sieger des Internationalen Italien Snooker Open 2024.
Der zweite Platz ging an den italienischen Spieler Giuseppe Maisano, der einen fairen harten Kampf gegen den Schweizer Dennis Furrer durchstand. Das Duell der beiden Spieler begeisterte die Zuschauer und sorgte für packende Momente auf dem Snookertisch.
Die Gastgeber des Turniers, Ramona und Stefano Bazzana, Inhaber des „15 Palle“ in Bozen, wurden für ihre herausragende Gastfreundschaft und Organisation gelobt. Trotz eines kurzen Dämpfers am Freitagabend als die Gruppenphase starten sollte und die Technik des Turniers am Brenner steckenblieb und der Verkehr für 10 Stunden in beide Richtungen zum Stillstand kam, lief das Turnier am Samstag reibungslos weiter. Ein Teil der Technik, erreichte Freitag Mitternacht doch noch Bozen und wurde vorbereitet, um sicherzustellen, dass das Snooker-Spektakel wie geplant am Samstag fortgesetzt werden konnte.
Der Turnierdirektor Tiziano Guerra führte das Event souverän durch und bewies, dass er auch mit unvorhergesehenen Herausforderungen umgehen kann. Bei der feierlichen Preisverleihung waren leider nur die Finalisten anwesend. Tiziano Guerra bedankte sich bei den Teilnehmern, den Gastgebern und schloss das Turnier mit den Worten: “See you next year.” Das Internationale Italien Snooker Open 2024 wird sicherlich als ein Höhepunkt in der Snooker-Geschichte in Erinnerung bleiben.
